Privacy Policy
How NextRem handles account, access, and workspace data.
Last updated: 2026-05-24
Introduction
NextRem provides a secure terminal workspace for SSH, SFTP, server monitoring, AI-assisted operations, and team access management. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it to provide and protect the service.
Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as name and email address, workspace configuration such as team membership and server connection metadata, usage data such as feature access and session timing, security records such as audit events and sign-in activity, credits and subscription status, and billing information handled by payment providers.
NextRem is designed to reduce uncontrolled credential sharing. SSH passwords and private keys are not intended to be stored as server-readable database fields. In the NextRem client, they are stored in a local device vault. If credential cloud sync is enabled, NextRem stores only a client-encrypted vault blob and related metadata such as device identifiers, key identifiers, timestamps, and integrity hashes. NextRem Server cannot decrypt that blob without the vault secret held by the user or device.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate the service, authenticate users, provide terminal and file workflows, maintain security logs, process billing, deliver support, investigate abuse, and improve product reliability.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with infrastructure, authentication, email, storage, analytics, and payment providers when needed to run the service, comply with legal obligations, or protect users and the platform.
Payment processing for the overseas service may be handled by PayPal and, where applicable, Apple for in-app subscriptions. These providers process payment identifiers, transaction status, subscription records, tax information, and fraud-prevention signals under their own terms and privacy notices. NextRem stores the subscription and entitlement state needed to provide paid features, seats, and credits.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, audit logging, credential separation, credit checks, and operational safeguards. SSH credentials are sent to NextRem Server only when needed to establish a connection and are used transiently for that workflow. Audit logs may record account, workspace, connection metadata, IP address, action type, result, and timestamps so administrators can review access and investigate abuse.
No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users remain responsible for using strong account passwords, limiting workspace access, protecting vault passwords and device access, rotating server credentials when needed, and reviewing AI-assisted commands before execution.
